Our impact
Karabi has been a constant in Western Sydney since 1987. Here’s a snapshot of what that adds up to — and the difference it makes to everyday life.
Nearly four decades of showing up
These figures are a starting point — Karabi can update them in the editor as new numbers come in, and add a link to the latest annual report.
The difference we set out to make
Less isolation
People who were spending most days alone find a reason to leave the house, a familiar face, and a community that notices when they’re not there.
Skills & confidence
From a child’s first playgroup to an adult learning something new, our activities help people grow at every stage of life.
A place to belong
Whatever someone’s age, ability or background, they can walk into a Karabi centre and feel that they belong there.
“Add a short quote here from someone who’s been part of Karabi — a member, a carer, a volunteer. A real voice says more than any statistic.”
